MTBF

The ASUS TUF Gaming 1000W Gold, enhanced with military-grade components, passes a stricter MTBF (mean time between failures) test to deliver up to twice the lifespan of standard power supplies, empowering you build with confidence.

DROP TEST

Replicating real-world drops from 75 cm height on all sides, this test helps to ensure every TUF Gaming 1000W Gold can resist damage from unexpected falls, knocks and bumps during shipment and daily use.

VIBRATION TEST

Extensive vibration testing helps to ensure that every part of your TUF Gaming 1000W Gold can stay in place and maintain functionality.

EXTREME TEMPERATURE

TUF Gaming 1000W Gold is capable of handling drastic temperature changes from -40°C up to 85°C for 27 cycles and maintaining operation.

CORROSION RESISTANCE

TUF Gaming 1000W Gold is built with corrosion resistance. It can withstand up to 95% humidity with salt fog for up to 240 hours and come out the other side with full functionality. Even if you’re living in tropical climates with harsh and wet conditions, TUF Gaming 1000W Gold can weather the storm.

High-Performance Copper Pins

Upgraded PCIe connectors featuring superior thermal conductivity ensure cooler operation and improved power delivery efficiency. This translates to a significant 29% reduction in connector temperatures (up to 12.28°C), promoting optimal performance and stability for even the most demanding graphics cards.

80 Plus Gold Certification

The TUF Gaming 1000W Gold features efficient, low-ESR Japanese capacitors to ensure efficient operation — affording it 80 PLUS® Gold status. This means it delivers up to 92% efficiency, resulting in less heat, reduced fan noise, and increased reliability.

Axial-tech Fan DesignBetter, faster, stronger

Axial-tech fan design features a smaller fan hub that facilitates longer blades and a barrier ring that increases downward air pressure. For TUF Gaming series PSUs, we’ve scaled that design to 135mm so it keeps things cool at low RPMs while producing less noise.

Etched Cables

Made from a pliable premium material, these etched cables are easily flexible during installation, and they operate at temperatures 50°C lower than the safety limit when routed for cable management. These cables also meet the rigorous standards of the UL1581 flame test and UL758 certification, helping to ensure a smooth PC DIY experience and exceptional safety.
